Four water innovations (including water from thin air) that are changing the world

Water water everywhere... well, that isn't true anymore. And in many places such as Cape Town, Sao Paolo, Beijing and Bangalore there is very little left to drink.
However, there is hope and these four innovations are some of the best from across the world -

               1. Artificial Intelligence and the water system

From the plain and simple drinking water, we are transitioning to digital water and smart water. It is still our old, regular off the tap water; however – it is tracked through sensors for quality, flow and pressure.

          2. Water from thin air

Using some extremely cool technology (which involves hygroscopic materials and hydro panels) Zero Mass Water is creating water from thin air.  Technically, the water that was in the air yesterday, will be in your glasses today! That's a double thumbs up from YourSustainableAccountant.
3.     Fog harvesting in humid areas

All over the world, people are using fog to collect water. The blowing wind blows the fog into a mesh and the droplets are slowly captured in it.

4. Water bottle that tells you when to hydrate

Hidrate Spark 2.0 is a water bottle that determines your optimum water needs and glows helpfully to remind you to get some of that H2O into your body. It raised a cool $600,000 on Kickstarter and is running strong.
